The Mission

The mission of Christ was clear: to save the world! This is the mission that he has passed on to the Church (and every Christian) as well. Jesus maintained a singular focus on this mission. He calls us to be focused as well.

In this second week, Pastor Coon presents the mission that has been given to us and the most powerful tool that we have in completing that mission.

Read John 4:4-26. What are some key things that we learn from Jesus in this story?

Read John 4:39-42. What are the key things we learn from the Samaritan women?

What are some “common ground” areas in our daily life that we can find with people?

Take a minute to prepare your “testimony” and share with the group. Follow this simple format: what was your life like before meeting Jesus, how did you encounter Jesus, and what is your life like now.

Read Colossians 4:5-6. How can our conversations be one way that we are “salt to the earth”?
