Share your story!
It’s important that as we are Doing Life Together with Jesus that we share our stories and experiences in order to encourage one another. Hearing how someone else is reaching out to a neighbor or coworker or is learning new ways to make following Jesus the center of everyday life may spark something in YOU!
So, to help you do that we’ve added a new feature to the site. On the bottom of the main page you will see “Share Your Stories”. By clicking on the question, “How have you been Doing Life Together with Jesus?” you can instantly share your experience. (This space is meant for brief stories, if you have a longer one that you’d like to share, please email pbowman@calvarydover.org).

I’ve been praying that God would give me more passion to talk to people about the Lord. As a member of the Gideons, I knew there was going to be a bible distribution at Wesley College on a Tuesday morning a few weeks ago. I had several things to do, however, as I was praying for more passion while showering, the Lord reminded me what was going on with the Gideons later that day. I put everything I had to do on hold and met with several Gideons at Wesley College. We distributed 888 new testaments in a 4-hour period. I did have a chance to talk to several students and explain the plan of salvation to them. Who knows if any of them will make the decision for Christ, but a seed was planted, and as in Is 55:11, His word will not return void.
